The new swimwear collection from Kuling, A Garden of Wildflowers, has landed. Like the name implies, the collection is a bouquet of swimsuits, trunks, bikinis and UV garments in bright colors and playful patterns. We’re proud and happy to offer a full collection of swimwear and UV garments – all with a very high UV protection of SPF 50.
What does SPF 50 mean?
All garments in the Kuling SS20 swim collection have a UV protection of SPF 50. They are made in a high density material, which means only 2% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays can get through the fabric, offering a very good protection. Normally, swimwear has a UV protection of SPF 5-15.
How to best prepare for a beach day with your kids
Kids, especially the youngest ones, are very sensitive to direct sunlight. They shouldn’t be out in the sun for too long, particularly not during mid-day when the sun’s rays are at their strongest. When you do let your kids out in the sun it is important to make sure they are well protected. Wearing UV garments is a great way to cover up and protect their sensitive skin. The body suit with long sleeve and leg is the best option for full protection. Any area that is not covered by a UV garment needs to be covered with sunscreen, preferably SPF 50. Add a sun hat or a cap and sunglasses and you’re ready for some beach time – just don’t forget to bring water!
The collection will launch in full on the 14th of April.
